The cabin, on Loch Aweside, is set in an acre of its own forest ground
on the shores of Loch Awe, near to the village of Dalavich and close to Oban, on the West coast of Scotland.
Loch Awe is one of Scotland's largest freshwater lochs and is reknowned for
its pike, trout and salmon fishing.
The loch and the surrounding forest are also home to Osprey, Eagles, Otters,
Pine Marten, Capercaillie and many other kinds of birds.
There are walking and cycle trails through the forest and along the loch,
and not far away are the munros of Ben Cruachan and many more magnificent mountains.
The forest surrounding the cabin is mainly Oak and Silver Birch, with large
Scots Pine beyond, making the cabin setting very private and not overlooked.
