There are many activities to enjoy in the area, including walking, Munro
bagging, bird watching, cycling, pony trekking, fishing, diving, sailing, and exploring the Highlands and Islands.
Boat hire is available from Dalavich Marina so you can spend the day fishing or exploring
Loch Awe's many islands and four castles. Alternatively take a picnic on one of the secluded beaches in the area.
Fishing permits for areas not covered by our site permit can be purchased in Dalavich.
There are 5 scenic walks available from the site, mostly suitable for all the family.
Details can be found in the cabin, but there is the wonderful Dalavich Oakwood Trail, just a couple of miles, or for the more
energetic there is the Loch Avich walk which is about 5 miles. A shorter walk can be made to see the amazing Avich waterfalls.
For cyclists, there are trails around the Lochs and further afield.
